The RØDE PodMic USB is a versatile broadcast-quality dynamic microphone designed for podcasting, livestreaming, gaming, voiceovers and professional content creation. Its dual-output design allows traditional connection to an audio interface or mixer through XLR, or direct plug-and-play recording through USB-C.

A high-power neodymium dynamic capsule delivers warm, detailed vocal reproduction, while the tight cardioid polar pattern focuses on the speaker positioned in front of the microphone. This helps reduce unwanted room noise and makes the PodMic USB suitable for home studios and other spaces without extensive acoustic treatment. When connected through USB-C, the microphone records at 24-bit/48kHz using RØDE’s ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamp. A built-in 3.5mm headphone output provides zero-latency monitoring, while the integrated volume control adjusts monitoring level. The USB connection works with compatible Windows and macOS computers as well as supported Android and iOS mobile devices, although some devices may require an additional adapter.
