Onimusha: Way of the Sword Deluxe Edition introduces a new chapter in Capcom’s legendary samurai action series. Players follow Miyamoto Musashi, an ambitious swordsman who arrives in Kyoto intending to prove that he is unmatched in the way of the sword.

Kyoto has been consumed by mysterious clouds of Malice, allowing demonic creatures known as the Genma to invade the world of the living. Armed with his sword and a supernatural Oni Gauntlet, Musashi must fight through bloodstained streets, historic temples and increasingly distorted environments while searching for his true reason to fight.

Combat emphasizes accurate timing, defensive counters and aggressive sword techniques. Players can deflect enemy attacks, break through defences, absorb souls and unleash powerful Oni abilities against crowds of monsters and formidable rival swordsmen. The dark-fantasy story is supported by detailed interpretations of famous Kyoto landmarks, including Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

This Deluxe Edition includes the complete base game and the Onimusha: WotS Deluxe Kit. The additional content provides three equippable charms, four sword appearances, Musashi’s Red Armour outfit and the Crimson Lotus appearance for the Oni Gauntlet. Deluxe Edition

The PS5 version supports offline single-player gameplay, Remote Play, DualSense vibration and adaptive trigger effects. It is also PS5 Pro Enhanced for improved presentation on compatible consoles.

A PlayStation 5 console with a compatible disc drive is required for the physical game. Deluxe content may be provided through a single-use voucher requiring internet access and a region-compatible PlayStation account.
