Its 650W capacity can accommodate a wide selection of modern processors and mid-range graphics cards when correctly matched to the complete system configuration.

Critical capacitors and chokes undergo extensive testing to meet demanding military-grade specifications. ASUS also applies a protective conformal coating to the internal PCB, helping prevent short circuits caused by moisture, dust and other debris. An 80 PLUS Bronze certification confirms efficient power conversion under standard operating loads, reducing wasted energy and internal heat. The unit uses Active Power Factor Correction and supports a universal 100–240V AC input range.

Cooling is provided by a 135mm Axial-tech fan featuring dual-ball bearings. The smaller central hub enables longer fan blades, while the surrounding barrier ring increases downward air pressure.
