The ASUS ROG Strix 650W Gold combines premium components, quiet cooling and fully modular cabling in a reliable power platform for mainstream gaming computers and productivity systems. It supplies 650W of total output, with up to 648W available through its 54A +12V rail.

Premium Japanese capacitors and low-resistance MOSFETs provide stable, efficient power delivery. These components help the PSU achieve its 80 PLUS Gold certification, reducing energy waste, operating temperatures and cooling requirements under normal workloads. ASUSUAE

Cooling is handled by a 135mm Axial-tech fan featuring a smaller central hub, longer blades and a surrounding barrier ring that improves downward air pressure. Dual-ball fan bearings offer up to twice the service life of conventional sleeve-bearing designs. Oversized ROG heatsinks provide approximately twice the volume of traditional PSU heatsinks, improving heat dissipation and reducing fan noise.

The integrated 0dB technology stops the cooling fan completely when total power draw is below approximately 40%. Once system load rises above that level, the fan automatically resumes operation to maintain safe temperatures. ASUSUAE

Fully modular cables allow builders to connect only the cables required by the system. The motherboard, CPU and PCIe cables include embedded capacitors to reduce voltage ripple. Four PCIe 6+2-pin connectors, two CPU connectors and eight SATA connectors provide broad component support. Cosmetic ROG stickers and a magnetic logo are also included for visual customization.
